Pair it with crispy pakoras, samosas, or even your favorite grilled meats for that extra punch of flavor!<br /><br />Ingredients :<br /><br />-Imli 500 grams ( tamarind )<br />-Gur 450 Grams ( Jaggery )<br />-Khajoor 10 -15 ( Dates )<br />-Saunf 1 tsp ( Fennel Seeds )<br />-Zeera 1 tsp ( Cumin Seeds )<br />-Sabut Kali Mirch 1 tsp ( Whole Black pepper )<br />-Kala Namak 1/2 tsp ( Black Salt )<br />-Namak 1 tsp ( Salt )<br />-Lal Mirch Powder 1 tsp ( Red chili Powder )<br />-Kashmiri Lal Mirch 1 tsp ( Kashmiri Red Chili Powder )<br />-Adrak Powder 1 tsp ( Ginger Powder )<br />-Vinegar 1 tbsp ( Sirka )<br />-Melon Seeds 1 tbsp or as required <br /><br /><br />Direction For Cooking :<br /><br />-Soak the tamarind ( Imli ) in 2 cup of water for 2 -3 hours.<br />-Remove the seeds of tamarind and strain set aside.<br />-Take dates remove the seeds wash them properly then soak them in warm water for 15 mins.<br />-Take a frying pan add fennel seeds , cumin seeds , black pepper fry them until fragrance starts on low flame , transfer to any dish and set aside.<br />-Take a wok add jaggery and water and cook until jaggery dissolve properly turn off the flame and let it cool for for 5 mins.<br />-Take a blender add fry spices and grind well set aside.<br />-In same jar add soaked dates and make a smooth paste.<br />-Strain the jaggery liquid through thin cloth.<br />-Take a wok add jaggery liquid add dates paste and cook for 2 -3 mins on medium flame.<br />-Now add tamarind pulp and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.<br />-Now add salt , black salt , red chili powder , kashmiri red chili powder , ginger powder mix well and cook for 2 -3 mins.<br />-Cook the chutney until desired thickness stir in between.<br />-Let it cool.<br />-Take melon seeds as required <br />-Your imli ki khatti meethi chutney is ready.<br /><br /><br />Subscribe for more delicious recipes!<br /><br />#imli #imlikikhattimeethichutney #imlichutney #chutneyrecipe #iftarrecipe #iftarspecial #spicebitebysara<br />
